This project has been paused by the Franklin Local Board due to additional scope considerations, including coastal factors and private land ownership constraints.

The project will be reviewed again as part of the 2027/2028 Programme Review Cycle.

In the meantime, resourcing will be focused on the delivery of the priority project for the community — Clarks Beach to Waiau Pa School Path, which you can click here for more information.
