This project is a proposed 2.3 kilometer footpath from Orere Village to Orere School. The purpose of this project is to ensure safe and weatherproof walking or cycling access to local residents going to Orere Primary School.
This project is part of the Franklin Paths Programme and remains a priority. Each year, the Franklin Local Board reviews the programme and considers which projects to onboard. Once a project is endorsed, it is onboarded, resourced, and progresses into planning and delivery.
