This project aims to deliver a central path through Waiuku, improving connectivity for pedestrians and cyclists between the town centre and Kitchener Road. The proposed route follows part of the Glenbrook Vintage Railway (GVR) corridor and will connect to James Bright Lane, forming an important link in the local path network.
The project is currently in the investigation phase, with surveying underway to help confirm the path alignment. Early engagement with local iwi, local businesses and stakeholders are underway to help determine the next steps of this project.
