Strong community involvement has seen the development of around 1.5km of walking trails alongside Ararimu Rd (beside the community hall) which creates a safer way to get from Creamery Bridge (along Ararimu rd) to the corner of Dunn/Totara Rd. To date this has been achieved on a shoestring budget with lots of local blood sweat and tears. The community has wanted to improve this asset for all but struggled to find the funds to do so.
